DC315 is an intumescent coating applied directly over cured spray polyurethane foam. When exposed to high heat, it expands into a protective char layer that helps slow fire spread — allowing exposed spray foam to stay visible in many applications where a drywall thermal barrier isn't practical.
As a dedicated DC315 applicator based in Muskoka, our entire operation is built around thermal barrier coating — the right equipment, the right spray technique, and application at the manufacturer's specified film thickness.
